RE NXT Integration: What fields connect to Impact?
When you connect Raiser's Edge NXT to Impact, the integration automatically syncs specific constituent information to help you build stewardship reports.
This process is triggered by adding the "Fundriver Impact" attribute (or Custom Field) to a constituent's record in Raiser's Edge. Once added, the constituent will sync during the next nightly feed.
Below is a breakdown of the data that appears in Impact and the background data used to keep your records organized.
Visible Constituent Profile Data
These fields are pulled from Raiser's Edge NXT and are visible on the constituent's profile in Impact. You can use this data to identify donors and personalize reports.
• Constituent Names:
◦ Full Name: The calculated name based on your display settings (e.g., "Mrs. Jane Doe").
◦ Preferred Name: The nickname or preferred name on file.
◦ Name Parts: First, Middle, Last, and Suffixes (e.g., Jr., III).
◦ Addressee & Salutation: The primary or preferred name formats for communications.
• Contact Information:
◦ Preferred Address: The full address block (Address Lines, City, State, Zip, Country).
◦ Email Address: The primary email address (or the first active email if no primary is set).
Background Data (Used for Sorting & Logic)
The integration also pulls additional data that may not be displayed directly on the constituent's profile. Instead, this information is used by Impact's internal logic to filter records, determine eligibility for reports, or manage the sync process.
• Status Flags:
◦ Deceased: Used to automatically exclude deceased records from stewardship reporting.
◦ Inactive: Used to filter out inactive constituents.
Important Notes
• Nightly Sync: Data updates automatically every night. If you make a change in Raiser's Edge NXT (like updating an email address), it will appear in Impact the following day.
• One-Way Sync: Data flows from Raiser's Edge NXT → Impact. Changes made in Impact do not write back to Raiser's Edge.
